Spearfishing and Sunny Boating

A few weeks ago Johan, Junde and I headed out into the Baltic sea for a small spearfishing trip.  Due to the extrodinary calm weather we were able to go quite far out into the sea to some islands.  We were hoping to see some seals and maybe go swimming with them but they were not around.  In anycase we cruised around and had great fun.  Near his cottage we found some big fish but despite getting one that was 2/3 my size it got away since the spear didn't get all the way through.  A bit sad :/  but in anycase it was great fun in the end and had a awesome day of swimming.

Then a week later we headed out again with Annina, Johan, and Bella.  It was great fun as we headed to this nice island for a picnic.  There we were swimming and just relaxing on a very nice sunny day.  It was also another awesome day to spend with our friends. =)

For the past three weeks we have been at the summer cottage so this is why I have not written much.  Today we go back for one more week and then I will write a report of our month at the cottage.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for updates!

An English Wedding and a Trip to Oxford

A month ago we went to Benni(Annina's cousin) and Emma's wedding in the English countryside near Oxford.  It was my first trip ever to England so it was pretty special trip.  Annina and I were able to go because of the help from her father.  It was very much appreciated as it was a very special trip.  We stayed at this beautiful 18th century villa  that was turned into a hotel in the countryside.  It was a very nice place and very relaxing.  We spent a lot of time with Annina's family which was very nice.  Then on the wedding day we just went down the road a little ways to a beautiful apple orchard where Ben and Emma were married.  It was a fantastic wedding and we felt privileged to be invited.  The day after the wedding we headed to Oxford and had a tour of the city.  My childhood friend Jamie and his Fiance whom lives pretty close by was able to meet us and showed us around briefly.  It was great to catch up after such a long time and really nice of him to come meet us.  Overall the trip was fantastic and it was interesting to spend some time in the English countryside.  I am not much of a city person so it suited me well.  It was also great to spend time with the family all in one spot which happens rarely it seems.  Again it was all due to Annina's dad that we were able to go and big thanks goes to him as it was a very memorable trip.
